Don't bite off more than you can chew...

One of the great things about this time of year is the fact that it’s the perfect time for most people to decide to make dramatic and lasting positive changes in their lives.

The only trouble with this is the fact that everyone tries to do it all in one go and invariably set themselves up for failure!

Instead of trying to do things in “bite size” chunks they try to implement HUGE changes across the entire spectrum of their lives, lose weight, be more positive, get fitter, become healthier, be less depressed and the list goes on and on.

These things can be addressed but they need to be manageable and just as importantly you need to have fun!

A Lifestyle Review is just the thing to get you back on track, it not only addresses the three key main points in your life, namely, emotional wellbeing, nutrition and physical wellbeing it will also “pinpoint” the areas in your life with a comprehensive printed report that details the areas need addressing and then you can decide on a scale of one to ten which areas you’d like to tackle first as opposed to a “head on collision” with everything you think is wrong with you and your life.

What you usually find is this, if you’re unhappy about yourself perhaps some “limiting decisions” have crept into your mind, i.e. I can’t lose weight I’ve tried before, I always feel down, or I’ve tried before and failed, one of three things usually happens, one, you become depressed, two, you don’t eat properly and three you don’t look after yourself physically so in affect it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

You don’t exercise so you don’t feel good, ergo you don’t eat well, not exercising and not eating well has a very dramatic effect on the chemicals in your brain and surprise surprise you begin to feel more depressed and even unhappier and attempting any change becomes seemingly impossible!

Once any limiting decisions or emotional barriers have been highlighted it’s very easy to clear them and therefore pave the way to make the changes you want and move forward.

Clear the mind which is the driving force for change, have a comprehensive report on eating and nutrition so you can see what you need to adjust and finally implement an exercise regimen that you can follow.

It’s so easy to make the changes you desire, you just need the techniques and strategies to know how!
